Hi Frank, You sound great! Doesn't sound like a challange at all to me. Your moving right along and playing some great stuff. It's very gratifying to see my students really absorb this stuff. Again, great job! Duke

OK... last try before we go on to something else. How's this?
I hear it in my head, I am still having trouble playing the rhythm against a metronome or drum machine. It is also hard for me to play it against the backing track, but it is easy while you are playing. I think I find it hard to play a little bit before the beat. I'll keep working on it.
Anyway. Cool lesson!

Duke,
I love your CD Wobble Walkin ---Any plans to release a book with transcriptions of those songs ? I would love to keep learning the chords and lines that you use on that CD. If not, then please continue to highlight those concepts on sonic junction !
All the best,
Mark Margolies

Exactly ! Wes Montgomery style octaves ---can be useful as you know in the blues for variation

Thanks Duke, these lessons are awesome.
I've had several teachers. Most of them don't like TAB, and tell me to listen... I never seem to learn ;-)
But it's easier to ask questions face to face.
I'm working on a new video for this week. Let's see if I really do "get it".
Thanks again

Hi Peter, Good I hoped that slowing it down to demonstrate it would help. I am not a tab guy. That's Mike's job! Duke

Hi Markod, Great playing and good fluid facility on the fretboard! I like your use of pulloffs and slurs etc. Your'e doing a very good job of absorbing the lessons and grabbing stuff but still doing your own twist on it. Congrats, great job! Like the delay also, Duke
